Tool Repairs

The repair slip is sent by our service electronically (fax / e-mail), with a complete analysis of the damage and the necessary spare parts. Without your written confirmation we will not proceed with the repair. During the repair, a preventive check is carried out and observations are made for possible future damage due to worn parts. The work is charged according to the size of the damage.

FESTOOL GmbH and Hellenic Tool Center guarantee that:

  • The delivered tool has no material defects or manufacturing errors.
  • The "all-inclusive" warranty is valid on the condition that the tool is used and handled in accordance with the operating instructions of FESTOOL GmbH.
  • The "all-inclusive" warranty includes the cost of repair, the free replacement of defective parts or manufacturing defects and the full coverage of shipping costs.
  • Availability of spare parts for 10 years, from the moment the production of the tool stops.
  • Immediate diagnosis and repair of the fault with original spare parts based on the high control/diagnosis standards set by the manufacturer.

Any complaints are acknowledged when you send the tool assembled and in its original condition together with the purchase receipt or invoice. The acceptance of any warranty claims does not mean the right to extend the warranty period nor does it define the beginning of a new warranty period.

The "all-inclusive" GUARANTEE is valid if:

  • You have completed the warranty document accompanying each tool and sent it electronically to FESTOOL GmbH within 30 days of the date of purchase.
  • You provide us with the proof of purchase, a photocopy of the invoice or receipt, as well as the confirmation from FESTOOL GmbH for the activation of the warranty, which you will receive in your email after first filling out the warranty form.
  • The instructions for use found in the tool's packaging have been followed.
  • Damage management of tools that are under warranty is done exclusively by the service of our company.

The "all-inclusive" warranty does not cover:

  • Consumable wearing parts such as: carbons, bearings, cables, grinding discs, pads, blades, cutters, suction and compressed air tubes, tread rubbers, stirrer bars, cutting knives, cutting discs, drills, etc.
  • Damage from climatic effects.
  • Overloading, use of wrapped ballad etc.
  • Damages due to incorrect or careless handling - improper use.
  • Use of inappropriate materials – after market.
  • Disassembled tool.

In the event that the user or anyone else makes inappropriate changes or repairs or uses foreign parts, FESTOOL GmbH assumes no responsibility for these actions and the consequences that may arise.
